Las mujeres jóvenes ya no querían usarla, pero las mujeres mayores comentaban: «Sin la Burkha me siento desnuda».
Su uso no se ata tanto a motivos religiosos, sino a costumbres tribales ancestrales más rigurosas aún en el ambiente rural.
Y tampoco se ata solo a la » Sharia», la ley islámica, sino más aún al «Pashtunwalli «, código de vida más rígido y que rige desde hace tres mil.
